Covid 19 – restrictions

An In-house training course that walks you through using WordPress to develop your website

The course will last approximately 3 hours and is held at your place of work. A maximum of 5 can attend the course which allows everyone to get hands-on experience. It would be helpful if you could each have either a pc or laptop. The course members should be those that will be adding/editing content to the website and those that will be administrators. Unlike many of the courses found online, this course will be completely up-to-date.

There are two possible scenarios where you might consider enrolling in this training session.

Please be aware that we will need to keep social distancing in mind during the course depending on your chosen date and the requirements regarding the Coronavirus.

Pre-Installation Of WordPress

You are considering moving over to WordPress but you’re not sure how to go about using the back-end content management system. This can in fact be a cost-saving exercise. Learning how to drive before purchasing a car may be considered a worthwhile exercise. Learning to use WordPress before spending money on the costs involved in setting up and designing your website will give you a great insight on why you should choose WordPress.

WordPress Is Already Installed

You now have a live website with WordPress as your content management system. In this case, you may wish to assign users to add/edit content on the website and also delegate an admin user. The admin user will be responsible for taking complete control of the website and should be a trusted member of staff. You can assign various roles to users. If you prefer to leave administration to a professional designer, that’s is an option too.
